Xian Y-20

Xian Y -20 Kun Peng ( Chinese:运-20; pinyin: Yun -20 ) indicates an in-process aircraft type. The military transport aircraft developed by Xi'an Aircraft primarily for the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

Description

There are recordings surfaced on the Internet that show the prototype during flight testing. The official first flight took place on 26 January 2013. On the recordings can be seen that there is a provided with four turbofan engines -wing monoplane with a T -tail. It seems so far to be two prototypes. The heavy long-range transport aircraft is intended to be used under all weather conditions during military operations, disaster assistance and humanitarian aid. Supposedly, the maximum takeoff weight is 200 tons, and the maximum payload is 60 tons.
