Xie Saike

Xie Saike (Chinese谢 赛克; born August 31, 1961 in Liuzhou, Guangxi Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China) is a Chinese table tennis player with international success in the 1980s. He is left-handed and played in the penholder style. He played for some time also for Trinité sport in France and later for AS Messine Paris. In 1988, he joined the ATSV Saarbrücken, with him in 1989, the Triple German Championship, Cup and ETTU Nancy Evans Cup succeeded. In 1990, he returned to China.

In the ITTF World Ranking, he finished in February 1985 two place.

  • World Champion Mixed Doubles with Huang Junqun at the World Championships 1981 in Novi Sad
  • Vice World Champion in men's doubles (together with Guo Yuehua ) 1981 in Novi Sad, and (along with Jiang Jialiang ) 1983 in Tokyo
  • World Champion in the team competition of the men in 1981, 1983 and 1985
