Xindian culture

The Xindian culture (Chinese辛店 文化, pinyin Xindian Wenhua, English Xindian Culture) was a Bronze Age culture in the provinces of Gansu and Qinghai in China. It is named after the site discovered 1923-24 in Xindian Lintao. The culture was distributed mainly in Gansu at the middle and lower Tao He洮河, the Daxia He大 夏河, and in Qinghai in the catchment area of the Huang Shui湟 水. The culture was predominantly agricultural, the bronze casting was known. According to the radiocarbon method, the Xindian culture is about the year 1000 BC. dated, this corresponds approximately to the ( Western ) Zhou period of Zhongyuan region ( the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River ).
