YaÅŸar Erkan

Yaşar Erkan ( born April 30, 1911 in Erzincan, † 18 May 1986) was a Turkish wrestler. He was the first Turkish wrestler who won gold at the Olympics.

At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936, he was in the featherweight (up to 61 kg ) Olympic champion for Turkey.
