Yehudi Menuhin School

The Yehudi Menuhin School is a music school in Surrey in England. The violinist Yehudi Menuhin she founded in 1963.

The small school teaches about 60 students aged between eight and eighteen years. The children need an extraordinary musical talent and play at least one instrument: usually a stringed instrument or the piano. Of course, they are also taught in other subjects, but the subject of music is the most important. Therefore, they get a lot of time to practice on their instruments and many lessons that form their particular musical skills in classical music.
