Yelena Pavlova

Yelena Pavlova (Russian: Елена Павлова; born December 12, 1978 in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR of the former Soviet Union) is a Kazakh volleyball player.

Career

Pavlova began her career in Uzbekistan. In 1997 she moved to Almaty before they VBC Riom went to France two years later. He then worked in Spain at CV Tenerife (2004-2006) and until 2007 at VBC Voléro Zurich before moving to Hisamitsu Springs in the highest Japanese professional league. In 2008, she participated with the Kazakh national volleyball team at the Beijing Olympics and finished in ninth place there.

Yelena Pavlova is married to Kazakhstani judoka Aschat Schitkejew.
