Yeshi Esayias

Yeshi Esayias (born 28 December 1985) is an Ethiopian marathon runner.

In 2007, she was h at Marrakech Marathon runner-up in 2:40:10 and h at the Ottawa Marathon in 2:36:57 Third The following year she won in Marrakech with a time of 2:35:40 hours and was in Ottawa Fifth in 2:35:37 h at the end of the season they won the Montreal Marathon.

2009 Esayias remained in their title defense in Marrakech with 2:29:52 hours for the first time under the 2:30 hour mark, won the Daegu Marathon in 2:30:44 h and placed at the Taipei International Marathon 2:30: 05 a course record.

At their second win in Daegu in 2010 she managed to further improve their personal record to 2:29:17. Later in the season, she finished fourth at the Taiyuan Marathon and defended her title in Taipei. 2011, they were each second in Daegu and the Beijing Marathon. In 2012 she was with her personal best of 2:26:00 at the Second Tokyo Marathon and won in Ottawa.
