Yevgeny Morgunov
Yevgeny Alexandrovich Morgunov (in Russian Евгений Александрович Моргунов; * April 27, 1927 in Moscow, † June 25, 1999 ) was a Russian actor, writer, director and producer.
Life and career
In 1948 Morgunov graduated at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow. At the same time he played in the theater.
Morgunov played in more than 100 rolls of film. In the 1960s, he gained fame through participation in the comedies Leonid Gaidais as Pjos Barbos i neobytschny kross ( Пёс Барбос и необычный кросс, 1961), Operation " Ы " and other adventures Schuriks ( Операция " Ы " и другие приключения Шурика, 1965) and kidnapping in the Caucasus ( пленница Кавказская, или Новые приключения Шурика, 1969). With success, he starred in films Jechali w Tramwaje Ilf i Petrov ( Ехали в трамвае Ильф и Петров, 1972) and Pokrowskije Worota ( Покровские ворота, 1982).
The greatest success with the audience brought the role of the " experienced " in the movies Leonid Gaidais, in which he played together with Georgi Wizin and Yuri Nikulin.
