Yoon Kyung -won (2011)

Yoon Kyung -won ( born January 1, 1982 in Seoul) is a South Korean professional ice hockey player who plays intermittently since 2004 in the Asia League Ice Hockey at Anyang Halla.

Career

Yoon Kyung -won started his career as a hockey player in the team of Korea University in his hometown of Seoul. In 2004 he moved to Anyang Halla in the tri-national Asia League Ice Hockey, where he has since, with the exception of the years 2009 to 2011, when he paused because of his military service plays.

Internationally

For South Korea, Yoon Kyung -won already took part in the U18 World Junior Championships in 1999 and 2000. He played with his team in the then " Asia - Division I ," which was located below the B World Cup.

His debut in the senior team of the Asian country was the defender at the tournament Division II World Championship 2001 in the Spanish Majadahonda, as by a 3-2 victory in the final game against the host nation, the rise in the Division I succeeded. In Division I, he represented his country at the championships in 2002, 2004, 2008 and 2013. After descending from the 2002 Division I in 2003, he was at home in Seoul on title win in the Division II and the chances of promotion associated involved. In the Asian Winter Games in Changchun, China in 2007, he won the bronze medal with his team behind Japan and Kazakhstan.
