Young Jeezy
Jeezy ( born October 12, 1977 in Columbia, South Carolina, real name Jay Jenkins ), formerly known as Young Jeezy, is an American rapper who lives in Atlanta. He is currently under contract with Def Jam, formerly with the hip - hop group Boyz N Da Hood at Bad Boy Records.

After the single release And Then What in June 2005, his first solo album Let's Get It was on 26 July 2005: Thug Motivation 101 published. This brought him and his label, Def Jam double - platinum (over 2 million copies sold ) and thus an unanticipated success. The album stood for a week at No. 1 on the U.S. charts. His trademark, the adlibs (eg " yeeeah " or "let's get it" ) are also the starting point of his critics who accuse him of lack of text level.
Young Jeezy Da Hood has been involved in 2005 in many Singles other rappers and singers such as Soul Survivor by Akon, the successful single from Gucci Mane So Icy and The Boyz Boyz n. He was also involved in the remix of Mariah Carey's hit Shake It Off by Jay -Z. On 12 December 2006 his second solo album, The Inspiration is: Thug Motivation 102 appeared.
After 2005 with Soul Survivor had its greatest success with its own hit parade # 4 on the U.S. charts, it came in 2008 along with Usher and his hit Love in This Club the leap to the top of the singles charts.
On 2 September 2008 his album The Recession has been published. The first single called Put On, which he recorded together with Kanye West and appeared on May 2, 2008. The second single was called Vacation. The album sold over 500,000 copies.
