Youssef Sofiane

Youssef Sofiane (Arabic يوسف سفيان; born July 8, 1984 in Villefranche -sur -Saône ) is a French- Algerian football player.

Career

About the youth teams of the U.S. Jassans and FC Villefranche- Beaujolaias (1996 to 1998) managed Youssef Sofiane in 1998 in the young field of AJ Auxerre, where he came from 2001 to 2002 in unterklassig playing C -Team to use. In June 2002 he signed a contract with the Premier League team West Ham United, where he was brought by coach Glenn Roeder free transfer as a perspective player. His league debut came a year later, on 9 August 2003 as a substitute in the 2-1 win over Preston North End in the Football League Championship. However, this was his only league appearance for West Ham. Four days later he played his first game in a 3-1 victory over Rushden & Diamonds in the starting line-up in the League Cup, but was replaced again in the 68th minute.

In January 2004 he was loaned to the end of the season at the French club Lille, where he came to three inserts. In September 2004, followed the next loan, this time for a month at Notts County. There he completed three league matches and scored in the 2:3 defeat against AFC Wrexham in the Football League Trophy a hit. From January to May 2005 played in the Netherlands with Roda JC Kerkrade on loan, where he replaced three times. Although he stood for the 2005/ 06 season in the pre-season games in the squad, he later did not belong in the professional squad and so his contract was terminated by mutual consent in August. After tryouts at Milton Keynes Dons and Coventry City, where he eventually switched out without a contract is signed. However, after only a single use in the league, he had to leave the club in January 2006.

Subsequently, the Belgian club took him R.A.A. There La Louviere under contract, but after six games, he moved to the end of the season. Sofiane joined the German Football Regional to Sportfreunde Siegen. On August 9, 2006 ( 2nd Round ), he played in the 0-1 defeat against FC Ingolstadt 04 his league debut when he came on in the 71st minute. However, after only six missions, he was dismissed on 19 July 2007 by his club. The association established the termination so that the player is last no longer fulfilled its obligations. For the 2007/08 season he signed on to the unterklassigen French club U.S. Lesquin. After one season he returned to Lille, where he played a league game in the first team, but also 20 games and seven goals in the reserve team shot. After twenty games and a goal in the 2009/10 season in Belgium for the RFC Tournai, moved to the country of his roots to Algeria, where he plays for MC Alger. However, after only one season, he left the club and signed in January 2012 with ES Sétif. But in July 2012, his expiring contract was not renewed.

Sofiane played for the U-15, U -16, U -17 and U-18 Youth National Team of France.
