Yuji Ide
Yuji Ide (Japanese井 出 有 治, Yuji Ide, born January 21, 1975 Urawa (now Urawa -ku, Saitama ) ) is a Japanese racing driver. He took 2006 as the driver of the Super Aguri F1 team participated in the Formula 1 World Championship.
Career
Yuji Ide drove from 1994 to 1998 in the Japanese Formula 3 From 1999 to 2005 he drove in the Japanese Super GT series, but at the same time in the Japanese and French Formula 3 (2001 and 2002) and Formula Nippon (2003 - 2005), in 2005 he was runner-up.
In 2006 he sailed as second driver for the new Super Aguri F1 team, where he received the starting number 23. First driver in this team was his countryman Takuma Satō.
However, he showed only very modest performances in the first race of the season and was regularly overtaken by his own teammates. After he even caused a rollover of Midland driver Albers at the Grand Prix of San Marino at Imola, the FIA suggested to the team, Ide no longer be used as a Grand Prix driver. In his place, drove from the European Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, the Frenchman Franck Montagny the second Super Aguri. Ahead of the GP of Spain in Barcelona Super Aguri confirmed that the FIA has 31 -year-old Japanese deprived of necessary for the Champions League Super license for the whole season and Ide therefore no longer came into use in 2006.
In 2010 he raced in the Formula Nippon. At the end of the season, he finished 14th place.
