Yuma Proving Ground

Yuma Proving Ground is 3367 km ² with one of the largest military base in the world. It is located in the U.S. state of Arizona in Yuma County and La Paz County and is the U.S. Army. Because the center is approximately at sea level, it is a good place to test helicopter. There are regular train parts of the U.S. Special Operations Command, such as the Green Berets.

Stationed units and facilities

On the site there is the Joint Military Freefall School, the central joint forces cross parachute jump school for special military jumping techniques, such as HALO and HAHO.

Furthermore, here is a Combat Training Range Detachment ( DET CTR ) of the Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWC ) of the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Command ( NAVSPECWARCOM ) stationed.
