Yuma County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arizona in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Yuma.

Geography

The County is located in southwestern Arizona, on the west by California and on the south by the two Mexican states of Baja California and Sonora. History

Yuma County was formed on November 9, 1864 as one of the four Originalcountys. The Countygrenzen remained until 1982, when La Paz County was formed from the northern half of the county.
