Yunus Sarı

Yunus Sari (born 21 January 1991 Beyşehir ) is a Turkish Taekwondo. It starts in the weight category up to 80 kilograms.

Sari takes part in international competitions since 2005, his first medal, he was able to win silver in the class up to 63 kg at the European Junior Championships 2007 in Baku. In the adult area, he made ​​his breakthrough at the 2011 World Championships in Gyeongju. In the category up to 80 kg, he reached a semi-final victory against Issam Chernoubi the finals and won the silver medal. Another medal he could fight at the Universiade in Shenzhen. The following year, Sari played his first European Championship in Manchester, where he was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Tommy Mollet.

Sari starts for the club Spor Kulübü Ulaştırma. His brother Ali is a successful and Taekwondo Championship medalists.
