Yuzo Koshiro

Yuzo Koshiro (Japanese古代 佑 三, Yuzo Koshiro, born December 12, 1967 in Hino ) is a Japanese composer of video game music. His compositions include music for Part 1 and 2 of the RPG series Ys (1987 ), The Revenge of Shinobi for ( 1989) and the soundtrack to Shenmue (1999). He was among the first who sold their video game soundtracks compositions, also was with someone outside the game orchestral version to ActRaiser for the first time the music from a video game newly playing with an orchestra.

In August 2004, was heard to ActRaiser at the Second symphonic Spielemusikonzert the opening of the Games Convention in Leipzig, a medley arranged by Koshiro. Another piece from ActRaiser was performed for the first Chamber Music Game Concert in Leipzig 2005. In the fourth game music concert in 2006 in Leipzig music was from Revenge of Shinobi part of the program for the fifth game music concert he arranged a medley of New Super Mario Bros. Yuzo Koshiro was present in Leipzig in 2004 and 2007 and gave his fans autographs. In addition, he has written music for the Merregnon project. As part of the Play! A Video Game Symphony series is listed one arranged by Koshiro piece to Sonic The Hedgehog at various events around the world.
