Záchlumí (Ústí nad Orlicí District)

DELTA X ( German Sachlum ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers west of Žamberk ( Senftenberg ) and belongs to Okres Ústí nad Orlicí.

Geography

The village is located on the right side of the Wild eagles along the river over crossing the road. To the west of the mountain rises Chlum (603 m ), on the southern slope of a large quarry is located. Beyond the Chlum the castle is Litice nad Orlicí. On the left bank the railway track between Týniště nad Orlicí and Jablonné nad Orlicí along a railway station located on the in Bohousová. South of the Záchlumí Kletná located (535 m).

Neighboring towns are Rybná nad Zdobnicí in the north, Kameničná in the northeast, Dolni Dvur and Helvíkovice in the east, Bohousová in the south, Litice Orlicí the southwest, Záměl in the west and Merklovice in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Záchlumí dates from the 1365. Established the place in the second half of the 13th century. The village belonged to the rule Litice.

1872 was the railway in the valley of the wild eagle, while a tunnel was driven through the mountain at Litice. In 1897 the school building was inaugurated, before the children were enrolled in school after Bohousová. The local village school was overcrowded and in 1893 taught the only teacher 167 children who came about half of both villages in a room.

The municipality consists of the villages Záchlumí Bohousová ( Bouschow ) Litice Orlicí ( Littitz at Eagle ) and DELTA X ( Sachlum ).
