Žarnovica District
The Okres Žarnovica is an administrative unit in central Slovakia with 27 381 inhabitants ( 2004) and an area of 426 km ².
Historically the county for the most part in the former county bars, a small part of the east lies east of town Hodrusa - Hamre is part of the former county of Hont (see also List of historic counties of Hungary ).
