Zborov, Bardejov District

Zborov (Hungarian Zboró ) is a municipality in the north-eastern Slovakia. It lies in the valley of the brook Kamenec, at the foot of Busov Mountain and the Highlands Ondavská, 9 km from Bardejov and 10 km from the Polish border.

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1335, the castle Zborov (also called Makovica ) 1347 was mentioned as Makouicha.
