Žďár (Rakovník District)

Zdar ( German Schaar ) is a municipality with 104 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers north of Kralovice in 552 m asl and belongs to the Okres Rakovník. The municipality covers an area of ​​865 ha

Geography

The village is located in the Natural Park Jesenicko in Scheleser hills ( Žihelská pahorkatina ). Neighboring towns are Otěvěky in the east, in the southeast Lhota, Podbořánky the southwest, Ostrovec in the west and in the north Tlestky.

History

The first written record dates back to 1558, the owner was then Florian Dietrich Knights of Ždiar.
