Zeljko Loparić

Zeljko Loparić ( born December 3, 1939 in Cvetković ) is a Croatian -Brazilian philosopher. He is Professor of Philosophy at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.

Life

Loparić studied philology, theology, philosophy and mathematics at the Universities of Zagreb ( 1958-59/60-62 ), lions ( 1959-60/62-65 ), Freiburg (1966 ), Heidelberg ( 1966-69 ) and Universidade Federal da Paraíba ( 1970-72 ). In 1982 he received his doctorate from the Université catholique de Louvain, with a dissertation on Kant and Mach. His habilitation at the Universidade Estadual followed de Campinas in 1986.

From 1977 was Loparić, first as a lecturer, and later as a professor of history of philosophy and philosophy of science in Campinas active.
