Zhang Lin (Anhui)

Zhang Lin (Chinese张林, Pinyin Zhang Lin, born June 2, 1963 in Bengbu, Anhui, People's Republic of China) is a Chinese dissident.

Caused a stir his conviction to imprisonment in October 2005. He was accused of trying to overthrow the socialist system with the publication of texts on the Internet. In August 2009 he was released from prison.

Zhang Lin had already been sentenced previously to several years of imprisonment, he spent a total, according to calculations by Reporters Without Borders almost 13 years in prison.
