Zhang Xiaoguang (Chinese张晓光, Pinyin Zhang Xiaoguang; MAY 1966 in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China) is a Chinese Taikonaut.

Personal

Zhang Xiaoguang grew up in the provincial city of Jinzhou in a working class family. After completing his education in 1984 and a college education in 1989, he joined the Army and completed in Changchun, a pilot training with the air forces of the People's Republic of China. In January 1998, he was recruited as spacecraft candidate and completed a two-year aerospace training program.

He was a candidate for the mission Shenzhou 9, 2012.

With Shenzhou 10 he started on June 11, 2013 from the Baikonur Jiuquan to the Chinese space station Tiangong 1

He is married and has one child.
