Ziethe

The Ziethe the north of the city of Köthen (Anhalt), a bridge between the Streets Am Dreiangel and goods by sea.

The Ziethe is a tributary of the Fuhne in the district of Anhalt- Bitterfeld, with a total length of about 25 kilometers.

Geography

Course

At the southeastern edge of Scheuder, a district of the municipality of the city unit Southern Anhalt, is the headwaters of the Ziethe. The conditional by a small grave narrowness cases watershed leaves the stream in different directions flow ( bifurcation ) to the east, where the Ziethe empties into the Libbesdorfer Landgraben after a short time, and to the west where it flows through several towns in Köthener country, the north of the county town of Köthen (Anhalt) happened, and finally empties into the Fuhne at Plömnitz ( Preußlitz ).
