HC Kladno

The ČEZ stadium is a closed ice rink in the Czech Kladno. It is the home ground of extra division HC Kladno, an ice hockey team. The arena seats up to 8,600 spectators.

Before the construction of the artificial ice rink was first played on frozen ponds hockey. 1949 art ice rink was opened, which was roofed in 1958. Four games of Placement Round the World Ice Hockey Championships 1959 were held in the stadium, the name Mestsky wore zimní stadium.

2001 and 2002, the stadium was renovated, the bleachers, the cooling system and the sanitary facilities were renewed.

The highest average attendance had the HC Kladno in the 1995/96 season, when an average of 4,608 spectators watched the home games of the club. The complex of buildings includes an additional ice rink, which is used for training purposes.

2012, the hall was renamed to CEZ stadium.
