Zlatyu Boyadzhiev

Slatju Georgiev Bojadschiew (common transcription: Zlatju Geogiev Bojadziev; Bulgarian Златю Георгиев Бояджиев; born October 22, 1903 in Bresowo in Plovdiv, † February 2nd 1976 in Plovdiv ) was a Bulgarian painter. He was especially known for his portraits and landscapes. The latter produced mainly Plovdiv and the surrounding villages dar.

Bojadschiew studied painting at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. His work is generally divided into two periods: the first extends to 1951, when he temporarily gave up painting because of illness; the second extends from his recovery to his death.
