Brezovo

Bresowo (also: Brezovo; Bulgarian: Брезово ) is a town with 2024 inhabitants ( 2004) and the administrative seat of an eponymous municipality in Oblast Plovdiv in central Bulgaria. The city is located in the Thracian plain at the foot of the Balkan Mountains, 40 km north-east of Plovdiv. It lies on the road No. 56 leading from Plovdiv to Shipka. The A1 motorway is 15 km away to the south.
