Maritsa Municipality

The municipality of Maritsa ( Bulgarian община Марица ) is a municipality in the Oblast Plovdiv in central Bulgaria. Administrative center of the municipality is Plovdiv, but that does not belongs to the municipality of Maritsa. The municipality is located in the central region of Plovdiv Oblast, north of the city of Plovdiv on the north bank of the Maritsa.
