Laki, Plovdiv Province

Laki (Bulgarian: Лъки ) is a city and administrative center of a municipality of the same name in the Oblast Plovdiv in southern Bulgaria. The town with 2615 inhabitants ( 2006) is 54 km south of Plovdiv and 20 km south of Asenovgrad in the Rhodope Mountains. To Laki Manastir, the highest altitude with 1430 meters settlement of the Balkan Peninsula belongs.

Through the city flows the Laki Jugowska, a tributary of the Chaya. Above all, the factories around the city of Laki flow Chaya contaminated with lead and zinc.

The A1 motorway runs north, 45 km away.
