Zorbing

Zorbing is a recreational activity where a person inside an inflatable, usually transparent, made ​​of PVC doppelhülligen ball down a slope or on a flat track rolls.

The musician Peter Gabriel in 2003 built a Zorb in the stage show of his Growing Up tour and so was also in public places, for example in the run-up to his concert in downtown Milan.

Security

As with similar sports and entertainment types precautions must be taken to minimize the risks even with an agreement from the intended route.

Inadequate security can lead to fatal accidents, such as a case in the Russian ski resort Dombai in the North Caucasus shows, in which one person died in the Zorbing and another was seriously injured after the Zorb ran off the runway and uncontrolled over rocks in the valley rolled. Previously, a deadly zorbing accident in the Czech Republic had already occurred in June 2009.
