Zvonko Stanojoski

Zvonko Stanojoski ( Macedonian Звонко Станојоски; born January 29, 1964 in Prilep ) is a Macedonian chess player.

The 10th Macedonian Individual Championship in Ohrid in 2001 he won; at the 11th Macedonian Single Cup 2002 in Gevgelija he finished third. The Trofej of Belgrade, which is held annually in Obrenovac, he won the 2006 and 2007 in their 19th and 20th edition. Also in 2007 he won the open Macedonian Individual Championship in Struga.

With the Macedonian national team he participated 1994-2010 in eight chess Olympiads with a total score of 35 points from 59 games ( 26, = 18, -15 ). Also in the European Team Championships in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013 he played for Macedonia.

Chess club he plays in Macedonia for the SK Alkaloid Skopje. At the European Club Cup 2003 8 in Rethymno he received playing for Skopje, an individual bronze medal for his score of 4.5 out of 6 on the first reserve board.

He became International Champion in 1999, since February 2004 he has the title Grandmaster. The standards for this he achieved at the 1998 Open in Skopje, for the year 2001/ 02 at the Challengers tournament of the 77th Congress in Hastings and 2003 at the International Pautalia -Tours tournament (Category VII ) of the chess club Osogovo Kyustendil in Bulgaria Kyustendil, he unbeaten won with 10.5 out of 13 and 2.5 points ahead. His current Elo rating is 2485 (as of September 2010), so it is on the fourth place in the Macedonian Elo ranking. His previous highest Elo rating was 2529 in January 2008.
