1949 Ostzonenmeisterschaft (ice hockey)

The first and only ice hockey championship of the Eastern Zone was held in 1949. The games found in the winter sport championships from 11 to 13 February 1949 in Oberhof instead. Were eligible to participate, the national champion of the SBZ. As in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg no championships were held, were only four teams at the start. First Master of the Eastern Zone became the Saxon representative of the SG Frankenhausen.
