1999–2000 English Premiership (rugby union)

The 1999/2000 season of the English Premier League was the 13th season of the top flight of English rugby union championship. For sponsorship reasons it was called Allied Dunbar Premiership. It started on 10 September 1999 comprised 22 game days (one forward and reverse turn) and lasted until 21 May 2000. Winning the league title for the fourth time the Leicester Tigers, while the Bedford Blues had to dismount.

The season of second division ( National Division One) comprised 26 game days (one forward and reverse round). The best-placed team Rotherham RUFC rose after a play-off against the Bedford Blues in the Premiership, while the Rugby Lions and the West Hartlepool RFC had to dismount.
