2013 Crédit Agricole Suisse Open Gstaad

The Crédit Agricole Suisse Open Gstaad 2013 was a tennis tournament which took place in Gstaad from 22 to 28 July 2013. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2013 and was discharged on clay court. In the same week the BB & T Atlanta Open and played in Umag ATP Vegeta Croatia Open in Atlanta, like the Crédit Agricole Suisse Open Gstaad counted exactly to Category ATP World Tour 250.

Defender of the single was the Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci, who retired earlier this year in the first round. The final was won by Mikhail Youzhny surprisingly the Russians against Dutchman Robin Haase in straight sets 6-3, 6-4. With Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka was the first time at an ATP tournament two Swiss top seeds. Both, however, dropped out early; Federer in the second round against Daniel Brands and Wawrinka in the quarter- final against Feliciano Lopez. In doubles, won last year Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez the title, but they took this year, not at the tournament in Gstaad part. The finale won Jamie Murray and John Peers against the unseeded, Spanish duo Pablo Andujar and Guillermo Garcia - Lopez in straight sets 6-3, 6-4. For the British-Australian duo this is the second joint title was this year. You could already decide the tournament in Houston for themselves.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 28 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. The four top-seeded player in a single each received a bye into the second round.
