Atlant Mytischtschi (Russian Атлант Мытищи ) is established in 1953 under the name Chimik Woskressensk hockey club of the city Mytischtschi in the Moscow Oblast. He plays in the Kontinental Hockey League. The club colors are yellow and blue.

History

From 1953 to 2005 the team played - with a break 1955-1957 when she performed as Chimik Moscow - under the name Chimik Woskressensk. Before the season 2005/ 06 a renaming in Moskovskaya Oblast Chimik took place because the club had moved from Woskressensk after Mytischtschi. Here was a bigger stadium available, which corresponded to the statutes of the Super League. The site in Woskressensk remained significant, since under this name a team in the league Wysschaja, the second Russian league, was represented. This 2008 succeeded in winning the title, and it was also subsequently included in the Continental Hockey League.

The current club name was re-elected with the founding of the KHL for the season 2008/ 09.
