Organization

The team was founded under the name Liquigas 1999. In the first ProTour season 2005, the bicycle manufacturer Bianchi, who previously concluded, inter alia Team Bianchi and Alessio - Bianchi supported, added as another name sponsor and remained until the end of the 2006 season, wheel -rapporteurs of the team.

At the end of the season 2012, Liquigas withdrew as title sponsor and the new wheel -rapporteurs of the team Cannondale, took over the main sponsorship. Achievements

The most successful years of the team were the 2005 and 2010 seasons:

In the 2005 season, won Danilo Di Luca, the Basque Country Tour as well as the classic Amstel Gold Race and Fleche Wallonne.
