Consent to Treatment is Blue Octobers second studio album and the first of the band under the major label Universal Records that was produced between 1999 and 2000 and published on 15 August 2000. It contains 14 songs, including the two singles HRSA and James. Producer Nick Launay was in the box 7 Studios in Valley Village and in the Vortex Media Studios in Burbank / California. As this album did not sell well, the band was more dropped from the label, but the contract was renewed as the band with History for Sale produced a successful album.
