Dębiniec, Opole Voivodeship

Dambinietz, Polish Dębiniec, is a town in Upper Silesia. Dambinietz located in the municipality Murow in powiat Opolski in Polish Opole Voivodeship.

History

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 213 voters voted to remain in Germany and 188 for Poland. Dambinietz remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 656 inhabitants in the village. On April 18, 1934, the town was renamed in calibration mountains. 1939, the place had 630 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Opole.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration, was renamed Dębiniec and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the place for Opole Voivodeship and 1999 came to the re-established powiat Opolski. In March 2009, the City also received the official German place names Dambinietz.
