Grabczok

Grabczok is a town in Upper Silesia. Grabczok located in the municipality Murow in powiat Opolski in Polish Opole Voivodeship.

History

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 184 voters voted to remain in Germany and 97 for Poland. Grabczok remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 447 inhabitants in the village. On 8 June 1936, the place to book village ( Upper Silesia ) has been renamed. 1939, the place had 470 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Opole.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration, was renamed Grabczok and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the place for Opole Voivodeship and 1999 came to the re-established powiat Opolski.
