Dungeon Family
The Dungeon Family is an artist collective based in Atlanta, Georgia, which has existed since the early 1990s. Their best-known members are OutKast, Cee- Lo Green and Bubba Sparxxx. It produces the individual artists and groups almost exclusively by Organized Noize, who wrote, among other things for TLC and En Vogue hits. Within the Dungeon Family, the term " Dirty South " was coined, who now describes a whole genre. It was first used on the Goodie Mob album Soul Food.
The Dungeon Family can be divided into two generations. The " first generation " exists since 1993, while additions are the "second generation " until the beginning of the new millennium and is therefore not to listen to the most important publications.
To date, only one album of the Dungeon Family (Even in Darkness, 2001) was published. In this can be heard up to the last song, only the first generation. In 2004, Big Boi, the supergroup " Purple Ribbon All-Stars ", which consists of members of the Dungeon Family. She has published on his label " Purple Ribbon Records ' two mixtapes.
