Eichkögl is a municipality with 1245 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the south- east of Styria in the judicial district or county field stream Südoststeiermark.

Geography
Geographical Location
Eichkögl ( Kleinmariazell ) is located about 27 km east of Graz, approximately 11 km north-west of the district capital field creek in East Styrian Hill Country.

The council consists of 15 members and has been working for the municipal elections in 2010, mandates the following parties together:

Coat of arms
The award of the municipality coat of arms came into effect on 1 July 1995. Coat Description: Black a gold top, covered on both sides accompanied by a golden star with a green oak branch from two leaves and three acorns that tip.
