Equal Vision Records

Equal Vision Records is an American independent record label from New York City which was founded in early 1990 by Ray Cappo to publish on this music from bands of Krishna faith. History

Beginning of 1990, Ray Cappo in Albany music label with the name of Equal Vision Records to distribute about his newly founded band Shelter, after a short time before his former band Youth of Today had dissolved. Aim of the label was to promote music of bands from the hardcore punk with connection to Krishna faith, as Ray Cappo felt previously drawn in the years to Hare Krishna movement and lived according to the rules of the Bhagavad Gita.
