The HK Sibir Novosibirsk (Russian ХК Сибирь Новосибирск ) is an ice hockey club established in 1947 the city of Novosibirsk. He plays in the Kontinental Hockey League. The club colors are white, blue and red.
History
The club was founded in 1947 as Dynamo Novosibirsk, before it was renamed in 1962 in Sibir Novosibirsk.
Since the establishment of the team in the years 1954, 1965, 1975, 1979, 1983 and 2002, six times the champion of the second division won. Connected to the championship win in 2002 succeeded the initial rise in the Super League. Until its dissolution in 2008, the team played continuously at that, the best placement was a sixth place in the 2006/07 season.
