Klopina

Klopina ( German Kloppe ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers north of Usov and belongs to Okres Šumperk.

Geography

Klopina extends in the Úsovská Highlands ( Ausseer hills ) in the valley of the brook Doubravka, which is referred to herein as Okenice. North-east rise the Bradlo ( Bradl stone, 600 m) and the Skalka (425 m).

Neighboring towns are Veleboř in the north, Lipinka in the northeast, Pískov in the east, and Holubice Dedinka the southeast, Zadnà Újezd ​​and Usov in the south, the west and Police Bezděkov u Usova in the northwest.

History

The pressure applied to the upper Doubravka during the colonization of the forest area Bruselský les place was mentioned in 1335, first documented as Clopywa. The inhabitants of the village belonging to the reign Aussee living from agriculture. Since 1437, the northerly logging town Weleborze is detectable. South of Klopina was still the settlement Střítež which merged after the Thirty Years' War with Klopina and today forms the lower part of the village. In Střítež were two ponds and a sheep. As in 1513, Ladislaus of Boskowitz acquired the dominion Aussee as a hereditary possession, belonged to the villages Klopina and Veleboř. After the abolition of patrimonial Klopina / bashas and Veleboř / Weleborz formed in 1850 their own political community in the district Zábřeh.
