Lesnice

Lesnice ( German Lesnitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers east of Zábřeh and belongs to Okres Šumperk.

Geography

Lesnice located at the foot of Úsovská Highlands ( Ausseer hills ) in the Müglitzer furrow ( Mohelnická Brázda ). The village is located on the left side of the creek March Loučka before its confluence with the art trench Vitošovský Nahon. In the North the Markovice ( High Steinberg, 475 m), southeast the Trlina ( 523 m).

Neighboring towns are Kopanice and Kolšov in the north, Brníčko and Dolni Brníčko in the northeast, Strupšín in the east, Rohle and Janoslavice the southeast, Vitosov in the south, Leština, Ráječek and Skalička the southwest, Zábřeh and Levenov in the west and Nový Dvůr Pazderna and Postřelmov in northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village dates from the year in 1348. Since 1368 the church is detectable. Since the 14th century consisted in Lesnice a yard, which included in addition to the village Lesnice also the neighboring Závořice. Owners were initially various gentry families. 1436 acquired the Tunkl Brníčko of the goods and united it with Kolšov. Since 1490 Lesnice was part of the combined rule Zábřeh. George the Elder. In the corridors of the destroyed by the March floods village Závořice he left the Great and Little Zadworschitzer pond ( Závořické rybníky ) for support. During the Thirty Years War, the parish became extinct in Lesnice, it was renewed in 1784. In hooves register of 1677 are reported for seven Lesnice peasant farms and four cottagers. At the beginning of the 19th century was the draining of ponds and their use as farmland. 1834 lived in 78 houses in the village had 577 inhabitants.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lesnice / Lesnitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district chief city. 1878, founded the volunteer fire department Lesnice. In addition to rural economies also masons and carpenters were resident in Lesnice at this time, further a lime kiln and a small limestone quarry operated. In 1900 Lesnice consisted of 106 houses and had 805 inhabitants. At the beginning of the 20th century there was a dairy cooperative and two small dairies that produced Olomouc curd cheese. In addition, there was a saw mill, a mill and a grinding stone factory. The place was a stronghold of the Social Democrats. 1930 had 845 inhabitants Lesnice, including five German. After the Munich Agreement in 1938 Lesnitz slammed the German Reich and belonged until 1945 to the district chief city. 1939 lived 843 people in Lesnitz. After the end of World War II some of the inhabitants left the village and moved into the Sudetenland. 1950 Lesnice had 642 inhabitants living in 151 houses. In Erbgericht a kindergarten was established in 1952. In 1961 the congregation to Okres Šumperk. Through a flood of Loučka Lesnice 1966 flooded. In 1969 the construction of the new elementary school and a community center in 1971. The nursery moved in 1990 in the community center has to offer. 1991, there was the village of 150 houses and had 529 inhabitants.
