Les Agites

In Les Agites a road passes in the canton of Vaud, which connects Yvorne and La Presentation. The watershed between the Rhone and the Rhine located at Ayerne and is lower than the highest point of the road which leads to the ridge around. So This is not a real mountain pass, such as a mule track starts at Roche (VD ).

The south side of the road, in the Rhone Valley. The 12 km long climb to Les Agites can be reached via several switchbacks. In the middle of the climb is the village Corbeyrier. Prior to the highest point you cross another about 300 meters long tunnel, a typical link road, as it was created by the Swiss army in many places.

The north side of the road is essential flatter and leads on the southern shore of Lake Hongrin along. This part of the road is only open in the summer months on Saturdays and Sundays for private motorized transport. In the village of La Presentation opens the route to the Col des Mosses pass road.
