Upper Hauenstein, pass

The Upper Hauenstein is a pass in the Swiss canton of Basel- Country in the village of Long Bruck between Balsthal in the canton of Solothurn and Waldenburg. The pass lies on the watershed at an altitude of 731 m. About the Pass Main road 12 of Berne and Solothurn to Basel. It creates the connection between the streets at the foot of the Jura in Oensingen and the Ergolztal in Liestal.
