The saddle is a road pass in the canton of Schwyz. It lies on the main road 8, Section Pfäffikon - Schwyz, between the villages of Saddle and Rothenthurm. The pass is at 932 m above sea level. M..

The saddle was probably used as an access to the Gotthard Pass before the 13th century. Through the expansion of the road in 1860 and the commissioning of the railway line in the south-east SOB 1891 by Goldau to Rapperswil, the saddle is one of the main east-west connections from Central Switzerland Eastern Switzerland. The ball has a maximum slope of 7%.
