The list of cities in Israel provides an overview of the development of the population of the larger cities and towns of the State of Israel.

Cities by population

The table includes the cities and towns with more than 10,000 inhabitants, whose name in German transcription, in Hebrew and Arabic, the results of the censuses ( VZ ) of 4 June 1983 to November 4, 1995, and an estimate of the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics for 31 December 2007.

Listed is also the district to which the city belongs. The country is divided into seven districts. The district of Judea and Samaria in the Israeli-occupied West Bank is not recognized by the United Nations and most states.
