Louiseville Jets
The Jets de Louiseville (English Louiseville Jets ) was a Canadian ice hockey team from Louiseville, Quebec. The team played in the 1996/97 season in the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League.
History
The team was founded in 1996 as a franchise of the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League. In this they were one of 13 founding members. In its single active season, the 1996/97 season, the Jets occupied the fifth and last place thus the Ouest Division, which they missed the playoffs for the Coupe Futura. With only eleven victories in 28 defeats in 39 games, the team from Louisville had a significantly negative balance. In the summer of 1997, the franchise was dissolved.
